Martial Arts Training and Classes Port Charlotte, Florida:

Kyoshi Mordechaiy Ramos is a seventh-degree black belt in the art of Okinawan Shury Ryu karate. He holds the distinguished title of Renshi and has been training since 1968, when he started in his native country of Cuba under the teachings of Sensei Lazaro Valdez, learning Kodokan judo at the tender age of 8. He competed in judo tournaments in Cuba and won several times. Upon his arrival in the US, he trained in the art of Hong Long Queen kung fu for a short time. He is also a certified USA boxing coach. In 1983, Mordechaiy began training in the art of Okinawan karate Shuri-Ryu traditional style and was awarded the rank of the first-degree black belt on February 24, 1987. He went on to compete in the Miami circuit, where he was awarded the Florida black belt association heavyweight championship and won the USKA world championships two years in a row.

He has also taken students to the largest amateur kickboxing tournament in the world, the  IKF World Classic Amateur Muay Thai/Kickboxing World Championships, where they all won their fights against their opponents and are now IKF World Classic Champions. At present, Mordechaiy is imparting his expertise at Zion Martial Arts in Port Charlotte, Florida. Here, he teaches kickboxing, boxing, Kobudo (Traditional Okinawan weaponry), Self-defense Karambit classes, and Traditional Okinawan Shuri-Ryu Karate-do. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Kyoshi Mordecai is dedicated to helping everyone reach their martial arts goals.
